Our First Giveaway!

YAY! Its time for our first giveaway!

When you become a parent, you are bombarded with new products. All claiming to be awesome. They are constantly coming out with new this and new that. New rules. It’s seriously overwhelming!

Well I want to share with you some of my favorite products by a company called Frida Baby. They are a Swedish company that has taken some traditional baby items and greatly improved them! My personal favorites are the Nose Frida and the Windi. These items get used in my house weekly, if not daily.

The Nose Frida is a “modern” take on the bulb. You know. That booger sucker they give you at the hospital? Before I bought the nose Frida I always thought the hospital gave the best nose bulbs. That the ones you bought at the stores were too hard and didn’t create enough suction. Then I kept hearing about this Nose Frida. In every mommy group on Facebook, EVERYONE swore by it. So naturally, I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. Using the bulb to clear Norah’s nose was a battle every time. I figure I was hurting her because every time I tried, she would scream. And I told you about that screaming.

When we tried the Nose Frida, it was a relief. Norah actually giggles every time we use it. We used saline spray in her nose first. Some of the Nose Frida kits come with the spray and some do not, it just depends on what you need. We already had saline spray for her at home. Anyways, after using the saline spray, you stick the blue end in the baby’s nose. And not all the way in there haha. Just at the opening. Then you take the red end, put it in your mouth, and suck out the boogers. Ok, ok, calm down. The snot isn’t going into your mouth. Not only is the tube super long (and REALLY easy to clean), there’s a nice little blue filter in there that prevents any germs from passing through! Neat huh? Look, you can’t knock it until you try it. And this giveaway will give you the chance!

Ok, my second favorite product is the Windi. This is another weird one, but hear me out.

Unfortunately for Norah, she has inherited the awful tummy issues from both sides of the family. The girl is gassy. Whenever she wakes up from a long nap, she farts. If she sneezes too hard, she farts. She’s just a farter. As of right now it’s cute. We’ll see how long that lasts. Sometimes though, her gas really builds up and causes her a lot of discomfort and pain. And you guessed it, she starts that ear piercing screaming. I actually saw an ad for the Windi. When I first saw it, my thoughts were “You do what? You put it where?!”. I just thought, there was no way I’m trying that. Well, when you have screaming gassy baby, you get to the point where you will just about try anything to make it stop. So I gave in, and bought the Windi. I’m so glad I did. The Windi is a hollow tube that you insert like a rectal thermometer. It works SO well. The first time we used it, we died laughing because when you insert the tube, and the gas is released, it makes this high pitch whistling noise haha. It really did help with her gas. I will also add though, always be ready to change the diaper after using it. We have had times where it wasn’t just the gas bothering her, if ya know what I mean.

Oh, to make all of this even sweeter, when you purchase a Windi and/or Frida Baby, they send one to one to a clinic, family doctor, or donation center that serves families in need.

The winner of the giveaway will receive the Bitty Bundle of Joy by Frida Baby.
